The world we are building is one where free expression, equity and sustainability lead the way. Although change takes time, our work continues to pioneer equal opportunities, visibility and impact. Everything we do, we do from a place of advocating for the change we want to see in the world. From the inside out, our team and our clients create new possibilities in how we design for social change & justice.

  4. Artwork Display System

Comments Off on Artwork Display System

    About

This community building project is a temporary modular structure to showcase artwork by local artists, educational institutions, and other community members. This working group proposed that artworks could be themed to reflect the artist’s experience during COVID-19, how they coped with quarantine, and what message can they share from that experience.

Each piece is inserted into a picture frame that rotates around a rod or a dowel. The artwork can be placed on one side with its description on the other side. The frames collectively create a mosaic wall rotating to create a dynamic rhythm. The materials required for the project are low-cost and easily acquired.

    Comments Off on JB&B

JB&B has positioned itself at the forefront of our industry by relying on a set of core values and proven principles that have informed and guided our work for over one hundred years. It’s no coincidence that, while these values and principles acknowledge the central importance of solid yet innovative engineering, their real focus is on people—the client, the engineer, the community—and it’s our unwavering commitment not only to these ideals but to the human relationships implied by them that has been the true key to our success.
