Oliver is a global cities expert working with extensive 30-year experience in the architecture, planning, and design industry as a Principal and Practice Area Resilience Leader for Cities & Urban Design at the global planning and design firm Gensler. With a focus on developing holistic, civic-minded, and sustainable places, his work includes master plans, city-wide sustainability frameworks, circular city strategies, and targeted innovations to improve health, wellness, and experience within urban environments. Oliver leads Gensler’s partnership with UN Habitat’s Cities Investment Facility, to help advance sustainable development and impart a positive impact on communities around the world through investment, consultation, and implementation advisory.
