Nat Oppenheimer

Executive Vice President/Principal, Silman

Nat Oppenheimer joined Silman in 1988 and is presently one of the firm’s two Executive Vice Presidents. He leads projects in all aspects of Silman’s work. Nat was the Principal in Charge of the Whitney Museum of American Art, Grace Farms, The Rise at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, and the Powerhouse Arts District in Brooklyn, among numerous other projects. In addition to practice, Nat is devoted to engineering education and teaches at Princeton University and the Cooper Union. He is on the Executive Committee of the Architectural League, is a member of the Van Alen International Council, and is an Emeritus Board member of the Salvadori Center.
