Jonie Fu, AIA, is a Partner at Fu Wilmers Design and works across the boundaries of architecture, urban design, landscape and planning. Often leading teams of engineers, economic consultants, and infrastructure and environmental consultants, she provides a holistic and integrated approach that is equally creative and practical. Jonie is particularly interested in the challenges of complex city context and physical issues, and above all making connections between people, buildings, and open spaces. Prior to founding her own studio, Jonie Fu was a Principal and Director of Urban Design at AECOM and a Partner at Cooper Robertson. She received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from University of Southern California and a Master of Architecture and Urban Design from Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation at Columbia University.
