Born in the Dominican Republic and based in The Bronx (New York City), BD’s work is rooted in community and committed to addressing the systemic injustices faced by underrepresented groups around the world. Grounded in storytelling and movement-building, his interdisciplinary approach integrates design, technology, and research to amplify voices, challenge dominant narratives, and develop tools for a more democratized world.
Through his creative practice, BD partners with mission-driven organizations, grassroots initiatives, and cultural leaders to build visual identities, campaigns, and materials that foster trust and inspire action. Alongside this collaborative client work, he also produces original media projects — including zines, essays, podcasts, and artist-led publications — that explore everyday life, identity, and resistance. Whether working with communities or creating independently, BD uses design as a means of preservation, dialogue, and transformation.
