Alejandro Epifanio is an accomplished cultural worker and community organizer with over a decade of experience serving underserved communities in New York City. Alejandro has served as the Executive Director of Loisaida, Inc. since 2020, a community-based organization with a rich history of positive impact in the Lower East Side. His deep commitment to civically minded cultural practices and the preservation of Puerto Rican culture, arts, and social justice at the intersection of media and technology are embodied in his work ethic. Through an interdisciplinary practice and skills-sharing approach, Alejandro has catalyzed many successful programs, projects, and initiatives at Loisaida.
