In his role as Senior Vice President of Business Development at Skanska, Daniel Maldonado is responsible for leading the company’s planning and execution of strategies to increase sales and company growth across a variety of sectors in the region’s real estate and construction market.
Mr. Maldonado is a 26-year veteran of the construction industry and has spent over 19 years working in various Skanska offices all over the world, including his last seven years in the Metro New York office. He has far-reaching experience in project management and business development both domestically and abroad, where he played a key role in proposal development, innovation and operations; and managed major pricing decisions for the benefit of Skanska’s clients around the world.
A graduate from the National University of Salta, Argentina, Mr. Maldonado holds degrees in both Civil Engineering and Construction Engineering. He also earned a degree in Project Management from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain and received his Master of Business Administration degree from Austral University, Argentina.
Mr. Maldonado is a CORENET and IFMA New York chapter member, serves on the Board of Directors for the Newark Regional Partnership (NRBP) and on the Social Infrastructure Committee of the Association for the Improvement of American Infrastructure (AIAI) as well as the Steering Committee of Association for a Better New York (ABNY). He also graduated from the Partnership for New York City’s David Rockefeller Fellows Program.
