This year, thanks to your support, we took our legacy of competitions, awards, publications, and programs into bold new territory—not to mention reaching 1,800 fans! (Help us grow to over 2,011 before year-end by suggesting us to your friends!)

We’re working with the Environmental Defense Fund on an ambitious initiative for the Lower Mississippi River Delta, and we’re helping create new design principles for the U.S. National Park System. In our New York space we opened our library as a public reading room, launched an experimental project space on the ground floor of our building, and rolled out two discussion series that revisited VAI competitions and brought architects and authors together to debate new books about the public realm. Last but not least, we opened our doors for brunches where members mingled over mimosas and participated in Design Speed Dating, our action-packed series of rapid-fire portfolio reviews.
