Awards

The jury will identify one project as the competition winner, one project as second prize and one project as third prize. The prize amounts are $20,000*, $5,000 and $3,000. In the event of a tie, in any level of award, the competition organizers may use their discretion in awarding prizes. The jury may also elect to award up to seven honorable mentions.

* The New York Prize award ($20,000) will be granted with the understanding described above under “Winning Submission." In the case that the winning team or individual will not be able to accept such an agreement, the award will be reduced to $10,000, but will still be recognized as the first place winner of the competition.
